Luke 24:13-32
This is Jesus heartburn(I have to credit Dallas Willard for this term!)...31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?"

A long time...

It's been several months since I've updated this and so much has happened! I thought I'd just put up the Christmas letter that I send out to all my dear friends that serve with me in Kidz Crossing.

Dear Friends,

What an amazing year it’s been! Kidz Crossing has been full of new faces and growing-up! It’s always amazing to me the changes that happen in a year in the life of our children! We are so blessed as a community at Crossroads to have our hallways and hearts filled with these little ones! Thank you for time that you’ve spent in 2009 sharing the love of Christ with these little blessings!

As we look forward to 2010 I have some personal news to share with you. I have been considering a change in ministry venue and have heard God’s call to move to Sierra Leone, West Africa and work with The Raining Season to bring hope into the lives of children and families there. As I sought God’s desire in this decision, your faces were always in my mind and heart—the way that you’ve joined me in serving Christ at Crossroads fills me with a sense of great joy and gratitude! So, I am sad that I will not be here in St. Cloud to continue to serve with in that way. But, I am excited that in this new phase of ministry, my relationship with you and Crossroads will continue, as I consider this just an extension of the work that God is doing through Crossroads in the world. There is much to work out as far as details and plans, but I am confident that you’ll continue to hear from me and I’ll continue to need your support and prayers as God allows me to serve in Sierra Leone. Crossroads is and will continue to be my church and I am looking forward with great anticipation to see what God has in store for each of us as He continues to build his kingdom in and through us. (I am hoping that some of you will come to visit! You are welcome anytime!)
